So Tired of This Date Shit

So, is this how it is going to be until the end of time? Is the end of time going to arrive and there will still be someone saying, “No! The end of time was four years ago because of this monk who didn’t know math so good.”? We heard it with the “New Millenium”. It wasn’t in 2000, it was in 1996 because the monk screwed up. NO! It was in 2001 because there was no year 0. Why does it matter?
Seriously, if the end of the world was going to happen on 6/6/06 then what does it matter? Maybe the end did happen four years ago. Who knows and what the hell are you going to do about it anyway? Is the antichrist going to be born today? Maybe. Maybe not. Do some people actually want to go around killing newborns just in case? Well, probably, but some people are just crazy like that.
You woke up this morning – be happy about it. Forget about all this doom and gloom and just be glad that everything didn’t end yesterday. If things are going to end today, there is nothing we can do about it so why worry? If you get bored try thinking about the fact that you were born 4 years before your birthday…or one year after. Just don’t talk to me about it.
